Yes, My Town has permanently closed down the My Town Properties business. Ultimately, we realized that we were better suited serving the local real estate market through My Town Movers and My Town Roofing, rather than being in the real estate business ourselves. For this reason, My Town Properties has been closed down so that we can directly serve local realtors and brokers.
We were approached by a local realtor that was interested in using the My Town name for their real estate business. At the time, we saw this as an opportunity to help a local realtor as well as grow the My Town brand here in our local area. After a few years in the real estate market, we made a mutual and strategic decision to wind down My Town Properties and instead focus our resources on our core businesses.

As we mentioned, getting out of the real estate business was a strategic and permanent decision that serves both us and our customers. It’s important to both of our core businesses that we not create any unintended competition with those in the real estate market who regularly refer us to their customers.
